Judo is a full contact Olympic Martial Art.
Players compete in gender, age, belt and weight categories.
Judo improves: Coordination, Concentration, Discipline, Fitness, Strength, Team work.
Judo is used by professional football and rugby teams across the world to improve athletic performance.
Who are we?
Judo Swansea has operated since 2021. We are a modern Judo club with an emphasis on competitive Judo.
Our Head Coach Shaun Davies was awarded the Swansea Council Performance Coach of the year in 2022. We’ve had multiple players shortlisted for male or female Sports Person of the year. We have many players in the Welsh Judo Squad who represent Wales internationally.
We believe in developing well rounded individuals able to transfer the skills learned in the dojo into their life. Skills like accountability, resilience and developing healthy active life choices.
