Member Code of Conduct

All persons associated with the club are expected to uphold these standards.

• Treat everyone with respect and courtesy.

• Follow coaches' instructions and train safely.

• Arrive on time wearing a clean judogi; remove jewellery.

• Report injuries/medical changes.

• Do not bully, discriminate, use abusive language or endanger others.

• Respect the dojo, equipment and venue.

• Accept the inherent risks of judo; the club will take reasonable care but cannot accept responsibility for ordinary risks of participation or loss of property except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Parent & Guardian Code of Conduct

All persons associated with the club are expected to uphold these standards.

• Support your child positively and respect all participants.

• Treat coaches, officials and volunteers courteously.

• Do not coach from the sidelines during classes.

• Ensure children arrive and are collected on time.

• Keep emergency and medical information up to date.

• Raise concerns respectfully through club or NGB channels.

• Use social media responsibly and respect photo consent.

• Treat everyone fairly and inclusively.

• Maintain qualifications and safeguarding requirements.

• Provide safe, age-appropriate coaching.

• Lead by example.

• Respect confidentiality.

• Report safeguarding concerns promptly.

• Follow club and governing body policies.
